After breakfast, everyone went on to do their own things. Gust went to sit in a rocking chair near the fireplace in the hall and knit; she was still too weak to clean. Gale went to clean up the table and do her daily routine. White Glory perched herself on a chair near Gust and examined her wings. Tempest, on the other hand, took some time out to bathe and get himself ready for a normal day. When Tempest was finished he entered into the hall, where he didn’t go unnoticed. White Glory stopped her inspection and flew over to him as soon as he emerged from the bath room. “Tempest..” her reptilian-like mouth moved, “Are you ready to help me now?”
Tempest had completely forgotten about the promise he made to her. He paused and then quickly came up with an answer. “Let me stay here for a bit longer.” He said dodging her.
The white dragon saw through his bluff. “You aren’t trying to get out of this are you?” she responded with a sneer.
Gust laughed a bit, “Tempest. Gale and I will be alright if you wanted to take some time to explore. Glory here told us about it. I’m sure we’ll manage.”
“But..” Tempest started.
“It’s alright lad, you’ve took care of us good enough. Besides, it might help with our financial situation if you happened across some fine treasure. Gale said she’ll do some part time work at the inn, so we should be alright for now.” Gust said reassuringly.
Defeated, Tempest listened to what Gust had said. He had much respect for her and didn’t want to do anything to worry her. “If you both will be alright.. Then I’ll go. I’ll make sure I’ll come back to visit as much as I can.” He said in an obeying manner.
“I’m sure you’ll have fun seeing different things. Gale made a bundle for you already. It’s sitting outside on the stump.” Gust remarked.
“Give her my thanks.” Tempest said as he started to head towards his room, “Let me get my things and we can go.”
“Mmm..” was all that White Glory got out as she prepped herself for journey once again.
